Is the CC640 a real-time camera?
I am trying to communicate with my new CC640 with a WinXP Pro SP2 notebook. I installed the CSI Device Config Utility (v1.3 from the included cd) and did the Power On - Setup on the camera, but I get "The Device version number, 1, is not defined for device, 11." I tried downloading the newest Device Config Utility (1.4) but it didn't have the CC640 listed. How do I communicate?

I recently bought a laptop to replace an older laptop we used to communicate with four 21X Microloggers®. I discovered the new laptop did not have an RS-232 DB-9 port, but it does have two USB ports. I understand that the CS I/O port on the 21X is not standard RS-232 protocol. Will the 17394 cable work with the 21X or do you have another cable that will? Or do I need to do something else?
